Seven workers at a now-closed health worker provider business in Providence, including the owner, are charged in an alleged $2 million Medicaid fraud scheme.
The charges follow a law enforcement raid of U’Nique Diversity Innovations on Branch Avenue in July 2025.
In announcing the charges Thursday, Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha’s office wrote, “The alleged scheme included billing for services never provided or substantially overstated, falsifying supporting records, and paying illegal kickbacks to recruit Medicaid beneficiaries.”…
