Our incredibly dry and warm stretch of Fall weather is about to come to and end, but oh what run it has been!
While we MAY catch a few fast moving, relatively light showers Thursday afternoon and evening, the most likely timeframe for some occasionally heavy rain (and even a few rumbles of thunder!) is Friday into Friday night.
Low pressure forming along a stalled boundary draped to our south and west will roll through the area bringing periods of rain, some heavy at times, from early Friday through (potentially as late as) Saturday morning.
Much of our forecast guidance is in good agreement on a fairly narrow zone of sizeable rain totals, the question remains exactly where this zone sets up.
A slight jog west or east in the storm’s track will place the focus of the heaviest rain on either side of most of our area…
