WEBSTER, January 25, 2024 – A routine patrol by officers from the Neighborhood Response Team (NRT) led to the arrest of a Brooklyn woman on trafficking charges today. The incident unfolded following a home invasion in the town of Webster, prompting local authorities to issue a Be-On-The-Lookout (BOLO) alert for a white Nissan Rogue linked to the crime.
The NRT officers, vigilant after the alert, located the suspect vehicle around 9:44 AM in the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts on Grafton Street. The operator of the vehicle, identified as 33-year-old Sabreena Young from Brooklyn, was detained by the officers. Upon searching the vehicle, the officers discovered a substantial amount of substances believed to be crack and powder cocaine. According to a WPD release.
Consequently, Ms. Young was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Class B Substance, specifically in the quantity range of 100-199 grams. Following her arrest, the Webster Police Department was immediately notified and has taken over the continuation of the home invasion investigation. According to a WPD release.
