A 35-year-old New Bedford fentanyl trafficker was sentenced to state prison recently in Fall River Superior Court, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn announced. Ramon Genao pleaded guilty to an indictment charging him with Trafficking in Excess of 100 Grams of Fentanyl and will serve 8 to 10 years. Genao is reportedly not a US citizen. A federal detainer has been filed and he will likely be deported upon completion of his state prison sentence.
