Police identify victim in deadly highway shooting

FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office has released the name of the man who was shot and killed on I-95 in Foxboro late Saturday night.

Investigators say Justin Parker, 37, of North Attleboro, was found shot inside of a Mercedes that crashed on the highway.

He was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in North Attleboro where he was pronounced deceased.

The DA’s office is also looking for the public’s help regarding the incident.

They say a dark-colored or black sedan was traveling south on the highway Saturday night when that driver fired several shots into Parkers’ vehicle just before 10 p.m.

Parker then swerved into a Lexus SUV, causing that vehicle to crash into the woods. No one in that SUV was injured.

Investigators say Parker then swerved again, hitting the center guardrail before coming to a stop on the highway.

“We are asking anyone who may have seen any part of this incident, or who may have seen one or more dark-colored sedans operating erratically or at a high rate of speed on Rte. 95 before or after the area of Exit 16 to call 781-327-9801 and speak with State Police assigned to the Norfolk District Attorneys Office,” Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said.
