RI Lottery: $1M prize has yet to be claimed

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — If you recently bought a lottery ticket in Bristol, you may be a millionaire.

The Rhode Island Lottery said a $1 million Mega Millions prize from the drawing on Feb. 2 has not yet been claimed.

The winning ticket was bought at the Stop & Shop on Metacom Avenue. The winning ticket matched all five numbers.

Rhode Island Lottery said two $10,000 prizes were claimed earlier this week. Those tickets were bought at Shop N Go in Johnston and Pier Liquors in Narragansett, respectively.

Lottery winners have a year to claim their prize. Any that go unclaimed get turned over to the state’s general fund.
