SWANSEA — Li’l Audrey’s is about to get a lot bigger with a second location serving up all your favorites — and a little something different.
Come spring, the longtime Somerset staple will be “li’l” by name only. Owner Don Caron plans to grow the family business at their new home at 395 Wilbur Ave., Swansea.
Li’l Audrey’s, a town institution known for its clam boils and prepared meals, has been a go-to for folks from far and near at 1159 Read St., Somerset, “pumping out a lot of food out of that tiny kitchen” for over 30 years, Caron said.
Now Caron is looking to build on the success of his neighborhood convenience store — run by his sister Colleen Santos — with a new location that will expand on their signature grab-and-go menu. This Swansea space will also offer an eat-in option.
A dead ringer:A pizza artist takes a whack at Fall River’s Lizzie Borden. Did he kill it?
“The kitchen at the new place is going to be significantly larger so we’re going to have the room that we need to reach the full potential the business has,” said Caron.
