NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A RIPTA bus was involved in a crash in North Providence on Saturday evening.
According to an officer on the scene, the bus hit a parked car on the side of the road, causing the car to hit a pole.
The car was unoccupied, but was left with significant damage. The front of the bus was also left with damage.
The bus driver was the only individual in the vehicle during the incident.
The cause of the crash is unclear.
