PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police in Providence are investigating a stabbing that happened on Sunday evening.
Authorities responded to the scene around 6 p.m. on Elmwood Avenue and Woodman Street after a person was stabbed above their left ear, Lindsay Lague, a spokesperson for the Providence Police Department, told 12 News.
The victim was brought to Rhode Island Hospital by Providence’s Fire Department and was conscious and alert.
At this time, no additional information has been provided about the victim or if there is a suspect.
