Ducklings rescued from Providence storm drain

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A Providence Animal Control officer came to the rescue of eight ducklings who found themselves trapped in a storm drain Wednesday morning.

12 News was there as the officer worked quickly to scoop the ducklings out of a storm drain with a net.

None of the ducklings appeared injured and quickly ran over to their mother, who was pacing back and forth nearby.
