Scituate holds Walk to End Alzheimer’s event

SCITUATE, R.I. (WPRI) — The Alzheimer’s Association held a “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” in North Scituate on Saturday morning.

This is one of several walks that are planned throughout the nest several weekends.

12 News anchor Mike Montecalvo was the emcee at this event, and will also host the walk that takes place at the Roger Williams Park Temple To Music on Sunday.

The Alzheimer’s Association provides education and support to all those facing Alzheimer’s and other dementias throughout our community, including those living with the disease, caregivers, health care professionals, and families.
