BROCKTON — Want to talk face-to-face with law enforcement about crime in your Brockton neighborhood? Come to the Arnone School Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz has put together another public meeting of his Safe Streets Task Force. Representatives from six agencies ranging from local to national are scheduled to be there: Brockton Police, the DA’s office, Massachusetts State Police plus the federal Department of Justice and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
“Operation Safe Streets Task Force will present and update the community on recent events and activities. The public will have a chance to discuss any and all safety concerns within the city,” the DA’s office said in a flyer for the event.
At past events, residents have told police their worries about gunfire in Campello while learning about new law enforcement tactics such as adding license plate readers. An update on Brockton crime statistics is also expected.
