Investigation involving Suffolk, Plymouth, Norfolk and Bristol County authorities results in sentence for member of violent street gang

BOSTON – A member of the violent Boston gang Cameron Street was sentenced yesterday for committing an armed home invasion robbery with fellow gang members. According to the Massachusetts Department of Justice, 27-year-old Brendon Amado of Randolph was sentenced by U.S. Senior District Court Judge William G. Young to 70 months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release. In February 2024, Amado pleaded guilty to conspiracy to interfere with commerce by threats or violence.
