Corrupt former Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia didn’t get the answer he hoped for when he asked U.S. District Court Judge Allison Burroughs to spring him from the clink early. Providence’s WPRI-TV 12 reported Judge Burroughs said the 32-year-old Correia failed to show “extraordinary and compelling reasons” why he should be allowed to go home without completing his sentence.
