In Fall River Superior Court, a New Bedford man pled guilty Monday to murdering his son-in-law in front of his grandkids and the victim’s wife. 62-year-old Alfonso (Alphanso) Richards was arrested in Virginia along I-95 by the Virginia State Police in August of 2021 and later charged with murdering 23-year-old Naurik Michel-Brown of New Bedford.
