(WJAR) – No regular trees will do. This year the City of Providence wants the “perfect Christmas Tree,” according to a release from Mayor Brett Smiley’s office. Once again, Rhode Island’s capital city is holding a holiday celebration in December and it’s asking for the public’s help in finding the perfect pines to grace the steps of City Hall and light up the Providence Rink.
