SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) — A crash Friday afternoon on I-295 South has backed up traffic in the area of Exit 15B in Smithfield.
All lanes of travel are currently blocked, according to the R.I. Department of Transportation .
It’s unclear at this time how many vehicles were involved and if anyone was hurt.
