TAUNTON — The city’s annual Lights On Festival has a new logo, and new merch, heading into this year’s holiday season.
The new logo was designed by Bristol-Plymouth junior Jake Aumock, who studies graphic design and who won a logo-design competition run by the city. Aumock received a cash prize of $100 as well as two seats at the ceremony at the Lights On Festival, Taunton Parks and Recreation Commissioner AJ Marshall said.
The city of Taunton is currently selling sweatshirts with the logo for prices that range from $20 to $25. Marshall explained that the city previously made sweatshirts for parade staff and volunteers, and had decided to allow the general public to purchase sweatshirts as well.
