The Taunton Animal Shelter Pet of the Week is Billie, a Lab mix who is about 2 1/2 years old.
He’s a handsome boy, who will need someone to give him the time and space that he needs to feel safe and secure.
Once he warms up to you, he gives lots of kisses and tail wags, and he has the best smile.
Billie has been working on socializing with other dogs, and has had some play time with another shelter dog, Preston, and they do well together. He does not like small dogs or cats, but a slow introduction to another dog about his size may work out well.
He loved to play, especially with stuffed animals.
Billie enjoys going for walks, running in the play yard, and is good at commands.
He would be your best friend, and would bring a lot of love and happiness to your home.
