NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — New Bedford police are investigating a violent incident that happened inside a Taco Bell early Thursday morning.
Police said they responded around 1 a.m. to a report of shots fired inside the Coggeshall Street restaurant.
Officers arrived to find a man suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
City detectives have taken over the investigation.
