Winter in New England brings many opportunities for outdoor fun, including tubing down a snowy hill.

Ahead, check out some destinations where you can go tubing with family and friends, some of which include night tubing, LED lights, music, fire pits, cabanas, and hot chocolate. Hours and prices can vary during school vacation weeks and holidays.

Massachusetts

Blue Hills Ski Area tubing in Canton: Blue Hills Reservation, a state park managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, now offers lift-serviced tubing. Tickets cost $28 midweek and $32 on the weekend for 90 minutes. Winter boots are required, and snowboard boots may be rented for $20. Open daily. Guests must be 42 inches tall.

Bousquet Mountain in Pittsfield: Visitors have access to four lanes, a carpet lift, and can reserve a private cabana in Tube Town with a view of the lanes as well as fire pits and picnic tables. Open Thursday through Sunday. Tickets for 90 minutes of tubing cost $24 on weekdays, $30 on weekends, and $33 on holidays. Guests must be 42 inches tall…
