Pawtucket man pleads guilty to fraud in purchase of $95,000 car

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Pawtucket man has been convicted of using fraudulent information to apply online for a loan to purchase a $95,713 vehicle from a dealership in New Hampshire.

According to the office of Acting United States Attorney Sara Miron Bloom, Roy Sweets, 27, pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy and wire fraud.
