A local man was injured after allegedly fleeing from police on Saturday evening.
According to police, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Bourne Police Department assisted the Massachusetts State Police with a vehicle failing to stop.
The vehicle being pursued was traveling westbound on Route 6, approaching the Sagamore Bridge. The Massachusetts State Police continued pursuing the vehicle as it subsequently traveled over the Sagamore Bridge, merged off of Route 3, and traveled onto Scusset Beach Road.
