Be prepared for a slow morning AND evening commute on this Monday as our latest storm crawls on through southern New England. This storm will start with a wintry mix– a few wet snowflakes and some sleet– particularly in Providence County, Kent County, and northern and central Bristol County (MA). However, this winter weather will be short-lived, switching over to rain as temperatures rise mid-morning. South County and the South Coast will see rain for just about the entirety of this storm.
On that note, be prepared for rain to last for most of the day. Most of us will see between 0.25-1.00″ of rain before the day is done. High temperatures will be in the mid and upper 40s later today, and it’ll be windy as well. Overall, not a bad day to stay cozy if you can!
Tomorrow will be milder and much sunnier! highs will be in the mid 50s and clouds decrease, leaving us mostly sunny in the afternoon. It’ll be breezy, but not as much so as today…
