PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Officials at Rhode Island College (RIC) said there is “no ongoing threat to campus safety” after an individual allegedly assaulted a member of the college’s housekeeping staff early Tuesday morning.
The college shared a statement from campus police chief, James Mendonca, that went out to members of the campus community on Tuesday. Mendonca said the individual, who is “not a current student or employee of the college,” entered Roberts Hall after exiting a RIPTA bus.
