Even though the clouds have been stubborn today, it’s been mid-spring kinda warm! We hit 70 degrees in Providence today, which is the average high for mid to late May! Now, however, things are changing as we head into the weekend.
Clouds increase overnight as temperatures fall into the low 40s. Tomorrow we’ll wake up mostly cloudy, and we’ll be in and out of showers throughout the day. We could have a few pockets of heavy rain and a rumble of thunder Saturday as well. Highs will only be in the upper 40s.
Sunday is the less-rainy of the two weekend days. We’ll see rain overnight Saturday into Sunday, and a few showers linger Sunday morning. It looks like, though, the wet weather moves out for Sunday afternoon/early evening. However, it does look like we’ll have some showers overnight Sunday into Monday as well. Highs on Sunday will be in the mid to upper 50s, with a few spots trying to get to the big 6-0…
