Crews start tearing down site of former state hospital building

CRANSTON, R.I. (WJAR) — A building that once housed hospital services in Cranston is meeting the wrecking ball.

The Welcome Arnold building, built in 1936, was originally part of the former Rhode Island State Hospital for Mental Diseases.
