African American Museum of Rhode Island honors contributions by Black women to state

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The African American Museum of Rhode Island held its inaugural preservation breakfast Monday, honoring Black women who have made contributions to the Ocean State.

The event was also a fundraiser for the museum, which works diligently to preserve Rhode Island Black history and turn that history into empowerment.
