RI Senate to consider statewide cell phone ban in public schools

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Beacon Charter School students are required each morning to lock their cell phones in pouches before walking into the classroom.

The so-called Yondr pouches remain locked until the end of the school day.
