RIDOT to open additional lanes to I-95 Providence viaduct

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation announced it will begin work on travel lanes on I-95 Friday night.

Officials said the northbound Providence viaduct service road at Exit 38 will open beginning Saturday morning.

The work was originally planned for May 30, but was delayed due to the weather.
