(WJAR) — Crossroads Rhode Island began construction for a new new health and housing apartments in Providence on Thursday.
According to officials, the housing development will be designed for homeless adults with medical needs.
The apartment will feature 35 fully-accessible permanent supportive apartments, a garden and space for health and behavioral health providers, Crossroads Rhode Island said.
“These apartments are about more than just housing—they’re about giving people the stability they need to heal, feel safe, and start fresh.
