Crossroads Rhode Island begins demolition for new health and housing apartments

(WJAR) — Crossroads Rhode Island began construction for a new new health and housing apartments in Providence on Thursday.

According to officials, the housing development will be designed for homeless adults with medical needs.

The apartment will feature 35 fully-accessible permanent supportive apartments, a garden and space for health and behavioral health providers, Crossroads Rhode Island said.
