SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) — State and local officials joined the Rhode Island State Police and officers from across the region at Bryant University on Friday as 16 new troopers received their diplomas and badges from the training academy.
The 2025 graduates demonstrated close-order drill marching before being inspected by Col. Darnell Weaver and Academy Commandant Lt. Nicholas Rivello.
