Former Pawtucket superintendent adds more allegations to lawsuit against city officials

Pawtucket’s now-former school superintendent has added more allegations to her federal lawsuit against city and school officials, claiming she was wrongfully terminated.

Patricia Royal submitted her resignation in mid-June, more three months after going out on leave, and more than two months after filing the scathing lawsuit against city officials.

Royal claimed in the lawsuit she was “unlawfully removed” and that she faced racist comments and overtones during her tenure of less than two years…
