Liquor license approved for Olneyville New York System in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — You’ll soon be able to enjoy a cold beer with your hot wieners at Olneyville New York System in Cranston.

The new owners applied for permits to sell alcoholic beverages at the restaurant’s Cranston and Providence locations.

Cranston’s Safety Service and Licenses Committee voted Monday night to approve the liquor license for the Reservoir Avenue restaurant. Only beer will be sold, and patrons must buy food with it.
