Providence man admits to trafficking methamphetamines

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Acting United States Attorney Sara Miron Bloom said a Providence man was convicted of trafficking methamphetamines for the second time.

40-year-old David Vasbinder pled guilty to a charge of possession with intent to distribute five grams or more of methamphetamine.

Vasbinder was arrested in 2022 after an officer stopped him for speeding and learned that an arrest warrant for him was pending in Providence…
