With his current release date sitting at July 11th, 2026, a former mayor of Fall River has had an interesting couple of years.
Although an exact reason was never given by officials, the now 33-year-old Jasiel Correia was on the move quite a bit.
Correia was initially serving his sentence in Berlin, New Hampshire. He then stayed briefly in Brookyln, New York before locating at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania late in November of 2023. He was then moved to a federal transfer center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in mid-December of 2023. At the beginning of 2024, he was transferred to Atlanta USP.
