RIDOH recommends closing 2 swimming areas, reopening 2 others

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health recommended closing two swimming areas in the state due to high bacteria counts, and reopening two others for safe levels of bacteria counts.

RIDOH recommended the swimming areas at Hope Community Service Pond in Scituate and Briar Point Beach in Coventry to close on Tuesday.
