COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) — Coventry Animal Control will be hosting an emergency vaccine clinic for pets after a stray cat tested positive for rabies.
The rabies vaccine clinic will take place at Coventry Town Hall Annex on July 30 from 6-7 p.m. It is open to everyone and costs $20 cash per dog or cat.
Pet owners are encouraged to register online beforehand, since their animals will be given priority. Those who don’t pre-register will still receive a vaccine for their pet, but may experience a longer wait time.
