WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) – Workers at a Rhode Island grocery store were shocked to find a bright colored crustacean in their latest seafood delivery.
The extremely rare “golden lobster” was first spotted by the seafood manager at the Dave’s Fresh Marketplace in Warwick.

Susan Budlong, a spokesperson for Dave’s, told Nexstar’s WPRI the seafood manager “knew immediately” that the grocery store shouldn’t sell the lobster.
Budlong said the grocery store reached out to its seafood supplier in Massachusetts, which put them in touch with the Biomes Marine Biology Center in North Kingstown, Rhode Island…
