No. Kingstown officer struck by car in undercover sting arrest

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) — A North Kingstown police officer working an undercover sting operation was seriously injured Friday when a suspect in a sexual exploitation case fled the scene, striking the officer with his car.

Alec Perry, 30, of Pawtucket, is facing 10 charges including indecent solicitation of a child, felony assault, eluding police, assault on an officer, obstruction and resisting arrest.
