PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A Rhode Island-based nonprofit is working to help a U.S. Army sergeant, who has been battling cancer for nearly three years, receive a critical procedure.
After multiple surgeries, Sgt. First Class David Hong, of Colorado, has found a chance at survival through histotripsy — a non-invasive, FDA-approved treatment for his stage 4 colon cancer.
