A late summer heat wave gets underway on Monday for much of Southern New England.
High temperatures are expected to reach the low 90s on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday across inland parts of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. A heat wave is defined as three or more days with 90+ degree high temperatures, so we will likely meet that criteria early this week.
