PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Firefighters never really know what a shift will bring, but for a group with the Pawtucket Fire Department, this summer brought a rare string of calls they’ll never forget.
Every shift starts the same: check the truck, check your equipment, and be ready for anything. However, calls don’t always go as expected, and crews often respond to emergencies where the outcome isn’t positive.
