PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — With 2026 World Cup games, now less than 10 months from being hosted, just up the road in Foxboro, time is ticking, for local businesses and tourism to ready themselves for the influx of soccer fans.

Businesses across Rhode Island are getting ready for the tournament, set to begin in June 2026, and to bring some eager fans to check out the Ocean State during their stay in Southern New England.
