Sunflower Fest at Lincoln’s Butterfly Farm

LINCOLN, R.I. (WJAR) — Sunday was a day to pick sunflowers at Butterfly Farm in Lincoln.

According to the farm’s owner, Dan Flynn their annual Sunflower Festivals began in 2019.

Held over three weekends in August, the event is an opportunity to get lost in the flowers – Flynn noting that visitors can go deep enough into the fields that they can’t see the roads nearby.

Visitors can pick their own sunflowers, says Flynn – who adds that 25,000 were planted over 5 acres of the farm property…
