Providence man admits to illegal possession of firearm

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Acting United States Attorney Sara Miron Bloom said that a Providence man who was previously convicted of on state firearm, robbery, and drug trafficking charges admitted to illegally possessing a firearm.

56-year-old Troy Antley was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Police stopped Antley for a traffic violation in March 2024…
