“Bristol Count District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn, III announced two motor vehicle fatalities that occurred in Bristol County this weekend.
On August 23, 2025, Massachusetts State Police responded to 911 calls reporting a vehicle in the woods shortly after 3:00 am on Route 195 East near mile marker 21. Upon arrival, police located a red 2013 Chevrolet Cruze with catastrophic damage.
The vehicle was found to have struck a tree in a a wooded area to the right of the breakdown lane. Police located 36 year old Crystal Mullens of East Freetown in the driver’s seat with significant injuries. Ms. Mullens was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced deceased a short time later.
An adult male passenger, who was not injured, was also located on scene. This crash is being investigated by the Massachusetts State Police along with the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office…
