Rhode Island DMV confirms federal compliance for truck drivers amid national concerns

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WJAR) — The Rhode Island DMV says the state is in full compliance with federal requirements to ensure truck drivers know English.

The trucking industry and those that give out licenses are facing increased scrutiny after three people were killed by a truck driver attempting a U-turn in an unauthorized area in Florida last month.
