Manville, RI — Recently, at St. James Parish in Manville, a 65-year-old time capsule was discovered on the construction site of the future Village at Manville and opened by the construction team at Pariseault Builders. ADEP and Venagro carefully excavated it, and Emery performed the hygienic cleaning to prepare it for opening.
“As we have opened the time capsule and found the coins and glass, it is a reminder of how involved people were and how important that moment of time was for the people of the parish as they continued to build on the foundation that Christ is our cornerstone,” said Father Carl Fisette of St. James Parish.
“It was exciting…somebody took the time to put this in there so we could experience this moment,” said Joseph Clark, senior superintendent with Pariseault Builders…
