WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Firefighters battled a fire that broke out at a business in Warwick Saturday afternoon.
Fire Chief Peter McMichael said crews arriving to Tiger Eye Gift Shop on West Shore Road just before 4 p.m. were met with heavy smoke and fire conditions coming from the attic.
The building is currently unsafe to be inside due to a ceiling collapse, McMichael said, which also led to firefighters being pulled out.
